Families
Family sessions with me are fun, relaxed and so precious. We'll go somewhere outdoors - somewhere your family can have fun together and play in nature!
It won't be awkward, and you'll come away having had a fun time together as a family and I'll have captured some memories you can enjoy forever. No awkward posing, no uncomfortable smiles, just lots of joy! I will work the time around what's best for you, but family sessions are usually 45-90 minutes.
You can suggest a location you and your family love, or we can use one of my favourite local locations. Why not have a little look at my journal posts and see what you like the look of?
As with all my sessions - all the images are included, I won't ask you to buy any extras! These photos make beautiful gifts for your family, and you can even order prints and frames straight from your online gallery.

Newborns
In-home newborn photography is a relaxed and convenient way to get those precious early moments captured. You don’t have to leave the house, we do the session in the comfort of your own home where baby is surrounded by family. My style is very chilled, and I'll be capturing the bond between you and your new arrival - this is still a family session, so you'll be holding baby and interacting with your family most of the time... I won't pose baby or wrap them up and put them in a basket!
I use all-natural window light, and will highlight your time at home together. We'll usually take photos in the living room, nursery, and/or master bedroom. We can even pop out into the garden if you would like! We'll be super chilled, and if you need some time to feed or settle baby during the session that's completely OK. I can even head out to my car for a few minutes or you can leave me in another room - I won't be offended.
As with all my sessions - all the images are included, I won't ask you to buy any extras. If you’d like some photos of your little one but they’re not ‘newborn’, that’s OK too, just pop me a message!

Inclusive
Would you love to have beautiful photos of your family together, but worry about what the experience might be like? Would someone in your family struggle to 'smile for the camera', or with not being clear about what happens next during a session? Does a member of your family stim or express themselves in a different way when they're having fun or need some comfort? Does someone in your family have a disability? If so, this session is for you!
I believe that everyone deserves beautiful family photos, and deserve to have fun whilst they're being taken. I have lots of experience of children (and adults!) who are autistic, have ADHD or have other sensory needs. I will build a package entirely around you, making sure to listen to your needs and build in lots of communication, play, and breaks.
Zero-judgement, no flash/bright light boxes, clear schedule, social story provided before the day (example here) and as much communication as you need. If you'd like to chat about how this would work for your family, get in touch using the form here.

Pets
If you'd like some natural, beautiful photos of your pet, I'm your woman! Obviously our session will look very different depending on the species and personality of your pet, so please get in touch with me here and we'll have a chat about how to make sure everyone is comfortable and happy!

I often get asked if I do weddings / parties / prom photos etc… the answer is ‘not usually, but please ask’! If your wedding is small, secret, intimate, unique or entirely outside, then definitely get in touch. I also love a surprise proposal or a ‘couples session’ that might turn into this surprise!

FAQ
What’s the booking process?
First of all - get in touch! You can do this here, or pop me a message on Instagram or Facebook. I’ll ask you what sort of photos you’re looking for so I know what kind of session you need, and then when you think you’d like this. Some people want to book in ASAP, and some people have a special date or month in mind. Please bear in mind that weekends book up more quickly, so please book early if you’d like a weekend session.
Once we’ve found a date together, I’ll send you an email with a questionnaire, a contract, and an invoice. The questionnaire helps me get to know you better so I can choose a time of day and location that works best for you, and build your perfect session. The contract gives us both rights to the finished photos. The invoice gives you details of how to pay me! Once you’ve filled in the paperwork and paid the first 50% of your fee, I’ll be back in touch. I do ask for the first 50% of the fee in order to secure your booking date, so please make sure you pay this promptly.
After this we can chat as much or as little as you want about your session. I’ll suggest locations and ask you how you feel about different things. Once everything is decided I’ll send you an email with all the details and information to refer to right up until your session, and if your session is a few weeks or months away, I’ll send you a reminder and an invitation to get in touch a week or so before.
How long will I need to wait for my photos?
For full sessions, I’ll send you a sneak peek of your photos within the first few days after your session. Depending on how busy I am at the time, your full gallery can take up to 6 weeks to be finished, but it’s usually much quicker than this. I aim to be fair to all my clients, so you will join the end of my ‘edit list’ based on the date of your session, but editing isn’t a linear process, so you may see me posting on social media from all different sessions and different dates.
Mini sessions (for example, Christmas) may take a little longer, but I’ll usually advertise when I’m aiming to have these finished, and you can always check with me before booking.
How long does a session take?
A family session takes around 45-90 minutes, depending on what you're comfortable with. My inclusive sessions can take as much or as little time as you need. Newborn sessions are 45-90 minutes, but totally led by you and can have breaks in-between. Pet sessions are usually less than an hour. Mini sessions are 15-25 minutes.
How much do extra photos cost?
For my full sessions (everything apart from mini sessions), you don't need to pay any extra. My prices include editing for all the photos that I’m happy with from the session. I'll send you an online gallery of high-res images for you to save, print and share. For an average family session this will be 25+ images!
what should we wear?
Your confirmation email includes a link to my What To Wear Guide, or you can see it here. In short though, wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Make sure you feel like yourself and you won’t be thinking about your clothes all through the session. I would avoid too many patterns, and would definitely advise against any writing or logos. Go for soft textures and neutral colours. Make sure you can move!
will you post my photos online / on social media?
Social media is the main place I get new business, so it’s super helpful to be able to showcase my work on my website, Facebook and Instagram, and have images ready to use to advertise, but I’ll never use your images without asking first!
I totally understand why you might want to keep your family offline, especially if you have children, so I’ll always check with you. I really appreciate when clients do allow me to use their photos, and it’s not all or nothing, so even if you could choose one or two images you’re happy for me to share that really helps!
